I've been doing a HELL lot of x1 grinds at wolf spiders lately, for 2 reasons.
1. I'm on x1 because I'm trying to stall, to wait for my grind partner to catch up, but he never did lol
2. I needed some money, and I thought ilbis would be nice mesos (only found 1 lol)
I ended up doing lv84-> lv90 all on x1, with no rep, no card lol (sometimes no ring too)
Then Evan came out, so I started making 1 as I need the glasses (since I'm a damage hoe :3)
The Evan glasses are rewarded as follows:
lv30: You get the glasses, 5 slots, 30 hp, 30 mp
lv50 You are rewarded a scroll (100% success rate; +1 all stats)
lv60 You are rewarded a scroll (100% success rate; +1 all stats)
lv80 You are rewarded a scroll (100% success rate; +1 atk, 2 matk - only usable when 3 or fewer slots is left on the glasses)
lv100 You are rewarded a scroll (100% success rate; +1 atk, 2 matk - only usable when 3 or fewer slots is left on the glasses)
So you can get 2 all stats, 2 atk, 4 matk 1 slot glasses by grinding an Evan to lv100. However, since it has 3 slots left (including hammer), I am planning to grind multiple evans, to get more atk scrolls. I'm planning to make 2 all stat, 5 atk glasses. I don't plan to chaos them, as the witch belt event has scared me lol. I doubt I could chaos any glasses over 5 atk... and chaos scrolls ain't cheap these days.
Like the aran, there are many quests that you need to complete in order to get skill points. However, some of the quests are quite amusing lol
In the same patch, Dragon rider PQ has also been released. You get the ability to fly about with this PQ which is really awesome :D
The PQ consists of 8 stages I think, the first 5 stages is very simple. You just kill every monster you see in the room, nothing to it.
on the 6th stage, there is a boss, which has 120m HP, and does seduce / damage reflect. You are quite likely to die several times fighting this boss lol so only go if you either don't care about your exp, or go at 0%. You lose FULL exp in this PQ when you die.
Then on the 7th stage, you have 3 minutes to make it to the other side. There are falling rocks, and spear traps which, if you get hit by them, you get stunned. If anyone does not make it to the other side in time, you fail the PQ. If you ever get stuck at the centre-top of the map, the trick is to right click the flying icon buff, to cancel it, and drop down.
On the last stage, you fight another boss. He has 130m hp, but doesn't really do anything deadly, like seduce or damage reflect. However, inside this room, you can only pot once every 20 seconds. This makes bowmans die really easily here lol, and NL / Arans are really nice here, due to their drain skills.
The best rewards from this PQ is durabilty weapons which drop at a 1% rate.

I scrolled an overall (for str) with all my remaining mesos lol, it made it to 26 str, 4 dex (the last 70% worked, didn't SS it)
I tried an apple for fun, while grinding at newties (gogo lv100!) I had SE30, MW19:
My card ended at lv99, so I decided to finish my Saint Exorcist medal off, before I finally get lv100. With the help of KoNaJiTaxD, Axxis and Pewe (Thanks :D), I managed to finish off my medal :D
After that, I grinded with rep, ring mule, semule to lv100 at last!
Here is a comparison of my attack range before and after:
*Meh, noob gloves, but I need the 5 str off it lol. I'll make better bowman gloves when I get more mesos. My shoe is depressingly sucky too. 5 str, 2 dex, 5 jump lol (100%'ed jump)
This is what I hit now, with MW10, SE30, 25 atk Pot (i.e. My normal grind damage)

7.5k strafe, with 12 atk pot only (was on my way buying some 100% shoe jump scrolls ^^)
I have to say, my bowman is... fun Fun FUN lol Can't wait till i'm like, 130+ where I have SE (no need for mule, yey!) some bow expert (stable dmg pl0x =S) and ofc, hurricane! <3
