Levelled up to the 16x

First thing I want to clear out, is that I didn't steal iPoledance's ign LOL. I'm not saying he stole mines either, it was just... coinceidence.



Didn't do anything exciting lately, like zak. Just been leveling up and buying ap resets whenever my store sells something.





The next pic is probably the worst level up SS ever. Trying to use maker skill while grinding as I needed etc space lol



I also found out some limitations of combo drain... which made me sad :(

The amount of HP healed, has a limit which it doesn't tell you. There are 2 limits, first one is that it can't heal more than the enemy's max hp, kind of obvious. The second limitation is that you can only heal up to 10% of your maximum BASE hp with one attack. I put base in capitals because it litterally means your base hp. HP given from rings / medals / pendants etc, do NOT count. Hyper body does NOT count either, it litterally is just 10% of your BASE hp. This means if you do 20k damage, you should heal 1k hp, since thats 5% of your damage, but if your HP was only 8k, then you can only heal up to 800 hp no matter how high damage you hit. You would think then, this means 1 overswing can heal up to 50% hp, since it hits 5 times, but you'd be wrong. This is the part which made me really depressed. Even though double and triple swing hits twice, due to the upgrade of fullswing / overswing, it still only registers as ONE attack. They combine both hits, as one attack and limit the total damage to 10% healing. So overswing will only heal 30% of your max hp since it only does "three attacks" despite the 5 combos. You can think of it as if you were still in 2nd job, before you got fullswing / overswing. I then wondered if mobs would change this, but it doesn't either. No matter how many mobs there are, overswing will always heal 30% of your max hp at the most... you might think it would be enough but my goal was always to hug zak with 0 pots and this limit made it virtually impossible. Zak's final body hits roughly 9k damage, and since you get touch damage every 1.5 seconds, You could only do roughly 1 overswing per hit. (its a bit more than that, like 3.3 attacks per touch dmg but I rounded down for safety) That would mean I need 30k base hp, so I can heal 3k, 3k, 3k hp with 1 overswing, healing total of 9k per touch dmg. Ofc arans have some godly defense, which is my only way of doing this. With high defense, and combo barrier both maxed, It lowers 9k by alot... to roughly 6.2k damage~ This still means I need like 21k base hp in order to heal fast enough to keep up with the touch damage... So this is my new target hp. 21k base hp. You might think I'm stupid, putting in another 1-2bil ~ to save pots at zak... which probably only totals to 500k per run. I'm a perfectionist, I like to get the best out of a class that I can. I am not doing this for saving money, I have more than enough mesos lol. I am simply doing this because zakking with 0 pots > zakking with pots. I just want my aran to be as "perfect" as it could. I know it doesn't really make sense... but thats how I see it. I've also heard claims that 99% of all arans die at zak, I want to be the one that changes that thinking.
