So for the next month orso, nothing exciting is really going to happen for me on maple. I've set a target of 20 critical rings for myself (1 for each job = 14, Wild hunter, Mechanic, Dual Blade = 17, and 3 for spare).
Since I only have till March 9th, I only have about 20 days left, with 16 rings to go. I'll need to speed grind a lv1->50 as fast as possible. I can now make a lv50 in 4 hrs and I'll tell you how I did it. Hopefully, it will help some of you. The most important things are preparation, x2 card, rep and ring mules. I will be specifically talking about a f/p mage. I believe they are the fastest job for a lv50. (You need to be relatively rich, and experienced to achieve lv50 in 4hrs, as the title of the post says...)
Firstly, you need good preparation. When I say good preparation, I mean VERY good. After grinding 4 critical rings so far, I've found out the main things you want to get prepared, before you grind:
1. Have some mesos on him, say 5mil~
2. Have pots on him (about 700 white pots, 750 sorcerer elixirs, speed pills help too - should last 4hrs)
3. Have magic / attack pots (Get at least 20 energizers, they are brilliant ^^)
4. Have Nearest town scrolls, possibly henesys / ellinia town ones too
5. Get all equips on your guy. More explained later.
6. Have family sorted, with a mule ready to summon your mage to ariant.
7. Have Rep, ring mule in ariant, x2 card ready (probably want the 5% party bonus coupon too)
8. Not a must, but good to have a decent amount of Blessing of the Spirit, possibly 12+ is good.
9. Lastly, get him out of maple island... start at henesys.
So what kind of equips did I have? They weren't the BEST equips out there, but they certainly aren't cheap. If you have any less damage than me, it would, ofc, be slower. Note - Int > matk for this, as accuracy can be a problem. Int adds magic accuracy, matk doesn't.
my equips:
10 int robe, 21 int 35 matk lv15 earrings, 18 int witch hat, 8 int 90 matk seraphim wand, pirate ring, lillens ring, 1 matk black raggedy cape. I also had a set of perfect DEFENSE gear (top/bot/hat)
Now, in my opinion, the seraphim wand is a MUST. As for the rest, no. Just get as good, low level int gear as you can. The reason I had perfect defense gear, is that at low lvl, before you can eqp an overall / witch hat etc, its quite useful to have pro defense. Without magic guard, you don't want to pot every hit, everything hits 1 damage, and that HELPS A LOT.
So to start things off, at lvl 1, you go to the map OUTSIDE the pig beach mini dungeon. Just use energizer, and whack the pigs / orange mushrooms to death. I did about 90 damage per hit? since I have 20 BoS + 25 atk pot on, much faster than 3 snails, screw that skill, get nimble feet first. Note: you DON'T need a ring mule here. If you only have 1 rm, keep it in ariant, to save hassle. lv1-15 will be a breeze.
Once you gain a few lvls, lv5 orso~ enter the MD.
The only reason I didn't go in at lv1, is because the ribbon pigs are a little bit "tough" for a lv1. Slightly slow exp, till you get higher lv. Do the advancement at lv8. You get a light bulb above your head, do the following:
Start quest job recommendation
Pick "yes it is"
Pick the last option "I'd like to ask for help, but I am a bit shy..."
then pick first option "I'll run away from the monster"
then last option again "Nah, not interested."
If done correctly, you will be recommended as a mage (lol) then you can click the lightbulb again, select "Becoming a magician" -> "Yes, take me there" and you will get instantly teleported to Elinnia, grendel the really old (fastest way there, by a few clicks ^^)
After you have advanced, back to pig MD. If you have defense gear (helps sooo much) you may wish to go to ant tunnel MD, at lv11~ if you feel its slow (It should take about 5 minutes to get lv11 ->15 at ant tunnel) Your skill build should be, 1 SP in energy bolt, max magic claw next, asap. The reason? Fastest way to level, who cares about Max mp inc, you will delete this char once 50 ^^
Once you are level 13-15 (depends your int gear - if not sure, pick lv15) use your family mule you have prepared to summon-tele yourself to ariant. You have a few choices of maps here, either sahel 1/2 or the MD (if an event is on, MD is best, since no KS)
Stay here, with rm till you are about lv27~ (30 if there is event on, and alot of ksers about). You should be 100% 1 hitting these sand moles at about lv17~ and levelling up roughly once every 2 minutes. Once you are lv30 (lv1 to 30 should have taken about 45 minutes), advance as quickly as you can (If on rep, finish rep before advancing. Becoming a f/p doesn't help till you are lv34+, so you can magic claw till 34, then advance).
You will want to grind at iron mutaes at lv27. If you 2 hit ko these, you level every 3 minutes~ at the high 2x levels. However, there is NO mini dungeon here, so Ksing may be a problem. If Ksing is a problem, stay at sahel MD till 30, and go roids. If you have a map, stay here to 37.
Seriously though, if you have a map here, its like heaven. I timed one of my reps here. I started off lv29 with 40% exp. 30 minutes later, lv35 and 5% exp. On average, it was about 5 minutes 18.6 seconds each level up. (Sp building - 1 to tele, max fire arrow asap next) Start using fire arrow to train at lv34+
If you were unlucky to not find a map, and had to resort to roids at lv30, its slower, but not too bad. Magic clawing here, with about 40% chance MISS, still got me a level up every 7 minutes~
Once you are lv37, you will be at roids till 50. Your fire arrow should be f**king brilliant now, 2 hitting roids sometimes. There are 2 choices of maps, the roids MD, and the map outside. Both produce almost same exp, so just go in MD I guess, for no KSers.
By the time you are lv40~ hopefully your equips are good enough to consistently 2 hit ko roids. When you do, exp is flying. I timed the exp of one rep, from lv40 with 85% exp, and ended with lv45 5% exp. Thats on average, a level up every 7 minutes and 8.6 seconds. Very impressive for level 40+
Even the last lvl, 49->50 takes only about 8-9 minutes. If you follow everything I have done, you will make it to lv50 within 4 hrs, Good Luck ^^
