The meso exploit didn't last very long. It was fixed by Tuesday 1st feb by a very long SC. Maybe I shouldn't have used the word fixed. After the SC, many people (including legit people) were "hellbanned". I don't particularly like the term hellbanned, took me a while to work out what it meant. I think a more appropriate word would be "tradeblocked".
Hellban: definition as I know of it. You cannot trade /drop items, cannot set up shops. You are offranked. You can however, still buy pots off npc's and NPC stuff. You are not actually "banned". You can still log on, just can't trade.
People who are hellbanned, shouldn't panic so much yet. It is a temporary ban, you NEED to send nexon an EOI and they will "investigate" into your character, and the ban will be taken off (if they see you as legit). However, if you do NOTHING about it, the ban will NOT go away on its own. So make sure you send an EOI to nexon.
Now, I've said this many times, I don't mind people glitching, and what I really meant was, I sort of accept people "abusing / making use" of things, as long as you don't directly hack.
Basically, I think everyone has sold something to a hacker anyway. I saw MANY noob items sell for max mesos, so I won't lie. I did that too. Hmm I'd rather be honest on this blog, than lie, I actually made quite a bit of mesos during this. I saw many people complaining "I worked hard for xxx months to make 2bil, now its worthless". That is true, but it can be FIXED. If you try and make use of the situation, you can gain from it. Some people would see this as wrong, I see it as thinking outside the box or "stop moaning, and think of a solution".
I went for, what I believe was the best option lol (turned out well for me too). I spent all my mesos I had / made onto miracle earring ints. There were several reasons for this. I did many research and reasoned that this was the best option. Only a few things can happen in a meso exploit like this:
1. All hacked mesos are deleted. - If this was the case, I am perfectly fine. I don't have mesos, I have Miracle earring ints.
2. Meso exploit is fixed, everything returns to normal price (People who bought chaos for 1bil would be screwed, etc) If this happened, I would be fine too. Its a miracle scroll... rare stuff, they will keep their value to a certain extent.
3. Rollback - in this case, it doesn't matter WHAT I do. Result is same, going back to what it was like x days ago.
4. Items get deleted. - Can't happen. Why would they delete items which were legitly obtained?
5. get banned for selling things for max mesos. - In which case, over 80% of maple would be banned.
So I thought of all the possibilities, and went ahead and stocked miracle ear ints. Bought alot at 700-800m each, mesos came from selling stuff overpriced, ended up with 12 miracle earring ints at the end. I did NOT sell ANYTHING that was being used by my bowman. I did not want to repeat the mistake I did on savag3blow... I sold all equips for pure meso to upgrade... when meso exploit came, it destroyed my character. I learned my lesson, never sell your equips unless you got better. I declined an offer of 60bil on my nisrock lol.
Now after the server check, where things are back to "normal", I was one of the lucky few who wasn't hellbanned. Many people got hellbanned (Link, DeviIEyes, brice's mules to name a few). I think there are more legit people hellbanned than hackers are, so its kind of chaos lol. At least they patched the meso exploit, so no more mesos would be created...
Nexon also introduced a few new drops into PMD. Miracle Overall Dex scrolls now started dropping, along with a few new chairs.
*all the original drops still drop. That includes all the bot/top/overall/helm def scrolls and helm hp scrolls etc*
I did 2 sessions of drop hunting on x2 drop card + drop rep at skeles. I think God loves me lol. 1st 4 hr card I did, I found 3x Miracle Overall Dex scrolls. 2nd 4hr card I did... was ridiculous. I found 4x Miracle Overall Dex, 2x Miracle Earring Int, 1x Chaos scroll and a reverse 2 handed Mace lol.
So I now had 14 Miracle earring Int and 7 Miracle overall Dex. I decided I would try to trade off some earring ints for overall dex's. I traded 4 earring ints for 2 overall dex's, bought 2 more for 900m each (expensive now >_>) and finally traded 1 earring int + 300m for 1 more overall dex.
I finally managed to collect 9 Miracle earring ints and 12 Miracle overall dex's. ready for ele pierce and my bowman overall once potential comes!
I'm not sure I even need 9 Miracle earring ints. I don't hp wash, but it would be cool to carry 29 int earrings.
I actually made a mule called GoldItemMule. I'm going to try and fill him up with random gold items lol. So far got 4 by scrolling miracle def xD
I'll just be doing more drop hunting till end of PMD - gave up grinding now since I'd rather get 7x miracle scrolls every 4 hr, than 0 miracles with 2 lvl ups.
And to finish this post off, going off topic, here are the earrings I didn't have ss for last time...

It was 3/2/2/3 and 3 atk u/h lol. Last 2 hammers was biggest waste of mesos ever =p
