I'm still not back on Maplestory yet, but I'll try to keep this site active ^^

I've just been playing another game, called Iris Online atm, which is a quest based- grinding game. Quite fun actually. And since I have alot more spare time (Maple ate alot of my time) I have time to finish off alot of uni coursework. I just finished a coursework which involved calculating drags and lift forces of a glider, and stall speeds. It took ages lol.

Well, heres something which I found incredibly funny, maybe slightly sad, but lol:

Why don't they have grossly fat guys as hockey goalies?

Not just regular pudgy guys like me, I'm talking obscenely fat. The kind that when they need an ambulance, the fire department is cutting into a wall and putting them on a flatbed.

Put one of those guys on some skates, drape him in the team colors, put a facemask on him and he can be a human wall. He won't have to move or anything; he can just get pelted with pucks all game.

Good idea?

BAD idea. "Grossly" bad, if you will. Obviously you don't quite grasp the accuracy of some of the NHL snipers out there. Even a 500 pound man wouldn't cover the entire net, and he would be unable to move. That would leave corners and gaps, and that is all a sniper needs to score. The shooters would know right where to aim, and they would hit it more times than not. It would be easy scoring. Very easy. And rebounds could easily be pushed through. Mobility and athleticism are musts for goaltending.

Besides, the guy would probably have a heart attack. A dead goalie isn't going to stop much, is he? :-)
